Schools in Evesham

A market town of around 28,000 set within a meander of the River Avon, Evesham occupies a distinctive place in Worcestershire's Vale of Evesham. Its origins lie in an eighth-century Benedictine abbey. One of medieval England's largest monasteries, it fell during the sixteenth-century dissolution, leaving only Abbot Lichfield's Bell Tower in the town centre.

Four Pools and central Evesham draw families competing for primary places, while Ashton-under-Hill, on the Cotswold escarpment to the south, is among the most sought-after villages for school catchments in the area. Honeybourne lies a few miles north-east along the Cotswold Line, which carries trains to Worcester Foregate Street in around twenty minutes.
