Schools in Hinckley

A framework-knitting centre since the seventeenth century, Hinckley has grown from a compact market town into the commercial core of south-west Leicestershire, sitting roughly halfway between Leicester and Coventry near the Warwickshire border. Around 51,000 people call the area home, with the historic market place and traces of the town's framework-knitting past still evident in its Victorian streets.

East Midlands Railway connects the town to Leicester in around twenty minutes. Burbage, the large village merging with the southern edge, is among the most sought-after pockets for primary catchments, while Hinckley's central postcodes draw families competing for secondary school places. Butt Lane runs as the school-competitive residential belt to the northwest. Sharnford and Wykin lie in the quieter outer ring.
