Staff also promoted manners, kindness and empathy. Children responded to enthusiastic praise and built warm relationships with their peers. These observations support the Good judgement for behaviour and attitudes with practical examples of children cooperating and understanding how their actions affect others.

Relationships are a clear strength. Staff formed positive bonds, met children's emotional needs and used consistent routines. The post-lunch rest period showed how familiar children were with the daily rhythm: they managed the transition to sleep with little fuss. Meal and hygiene routines also gave toddlers and preschool children age-appropriate responsibility.

Parents valued staff warmth and daily feedback. Leaders identified children needing additional help early and arranged targeted support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. That early response matters because it connects assessment with action rather than waiting for a child to fall further behind.

Leadership contributed to the inspection picture too. Staff received feedback and training, and were supported towards qualifications. Combined with leaders' knowledge of children's progress, this gave planning a clear purpose: activities were chosen around what children needed to learn next. Parents, meanwhile, had daily information about their child's experience.

The inspection identified one improvement: staff's spoken English should model accurate language consistently. This matters in a setting where conversation is central to children's learning.
