Warm relationships are the clearest strength at Eliana Bilingual Nursery, but its January 2026 inspection also identified substantial work to do. Children enjoyed attending and older children formed friendships. Staff modelled positive behaviour, helping children to understand routines, share and take turns. In January 2026, stronger practice used books, purposeful conversation and mathematical language through play. Children also learned about road safety, community roles and the work of the fire service and police. These are useful, concrete experiences: they give language and number a purpose while widening children's understanding of people beyond the nursery.

The statutory Early Years Foundation Stage is the curriculum framework here. In parent terms, it means play and everyday routines should build communication, physical, social and early academic development from each child's starting point. The concern was not the framework itself, but how consistently staff turned it into well-sequenced learning.

The picture was inconsistent across rooms. Some large-group activities did not hold children's attention, communication and language teaching was sometimes inaccurate, and learning was not always sequenced well enough. Indoor provision did not consistently prioritise gross-motor development when outdoor play was unavailable. Sensory-play vocabulary was sometimes inaccurate, losing chances to extend language. This combination makes staff interaction and adaptation more important than an activity list alone.

Familiar adults treated children with kindness and care, helping trusting relationships take root. Older children generally understood routines, shared and took turns. Attendance was monitored closely and absences followed up promptly, connecting a missed day with an active welfare check rather than treating attendance as an administrative total. Staff also taught personal safety, including road safety, while mealtimes helped older children practise healthy habits and social behaviour.

For babies and younger children, the key-person approach was not yet effective in practice. A consistent key person should connect settling, care routines and parent communication throughout the week; the required action therefore reaches beyond paperwork into the child's daily sense of continuity. Support for rest, exercise and physical development was also inconsistent. Ofsted required better assessment and more reliable adjustments for children with SEND, disadvantaged children and children known to social care.

The nursery is at Unit 1, 10 Park Lane, Wembley, HA9 7RP. It is recorded as open Monday to Friday across the year, but no verified booking model is available. The practical question is which full-day, part-day or flexible patterns, if any, are actually sold; an opening schedule alone does not establish a bookable session.

Current branch information does not establish funded-entitlement participation, meals, consumables or closures. A written quotation should separate childcare hours from any other charges and state what parents must supply. Those details can materially change both weekly logistics and the effective cost of a place.

Eliana Bilingual Nursery had warm relationships and useful community-based learning in January 2026, but the report card's needs-attention findings were broad.
