Many children formed warm, trusting relationships with staff, collaborated in play and began to share and take turns. Those relationships give children a secure base, while the collaboration observed in play provides practical opportunities to learn how to take account of others. Meals were nutritious, allergies received attention, and eating and sleeping were supervised effectively.

The report also identified extended waits at lunchtime and before home time, inconsistent behaviour management, excessive raised voices by some staff and weaknesses in hygiene teaching. These points matter because lost time, inconsistent boundaries and poor routines affect both children's emotional security and their opportunities to learn. The contrast is sharp: warm individual relationships were present, but practice was not consistently respectful or effective across the day.
