This is an out-of-school club for children aged four to eleven, based at Our Lady of Muswell Catholic Primary School on Pages Lane. The welcome circle had a practical purpose: children explained the club's rules to one another and discussed why those boundaries mattered, turning expectations into something they understood rather than simply followed.

Relationships were warm and attentive. Staff listened to children's news from school and home, responded to individual interests and offered reassurance when needed. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities received good support, according to Ofsted, while communication with parents and information passed on from teachers helped connect school, club and home.

There were two points for improvement. Some transitions left children waiting for too long, and staff occasionally missed opportunities for children to practise skills such as serving food or preparing a simple snack. Families who value independence should weigh that positive child-led play against these specific gaps in routine.

The club operates at Our Lady of Muswell Catholic Primary School, Pages Lane, London N10 1PS. Its schedule at the time covered after-school care from 3.30pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday during term time, plus a holiday club from 8.30am to 5.30pm during school holidays.

Children received snacks aligned with nutritional guidance and learned routines such as washing their hands before eating. Staff also explained why healthy habits matter, connecting the routine to children's understanding.
