Staff knew their key children individually, planned from their interests and next steps, and gave less confident speakers time to form and extend sentences.

The setting's Golden values provide a shared language for behaviour. Children were seen reminding one another that sharing is kind, taking turns and resolving minor disputes with staff support. Everyday independence is practical too: children prepare fruit and serve themselves, with adults asking before stepping in.

Parent partnership goes beyond updates. The evidence from March 2024 records exceptional communication and opportunities for families to join community trips and regular events. The charity is managed by a volunteer parent and teacher committee, and the published parent/fruit rota expects a parent or carer to help one morning each half term.
