A key person is assigned to each child, and the branch says staff speak with parents regularly and hold meetings once per term. Staff knew children well, used their interests and next learning steps when planning, and provided parents with updates. Parents described the setting as caring, approachable and warm.

Independence is built into ordinary routines. Children choose activities, clear them away, manage shoes and coats, wash hands and help clean their snack cups. Ofsted judged safeguarding effective in January 2024 and described an open, positive culture. It also set two clear improvement points: staff should challenge and extend learning more consistently during adult-led activities, and those activities should give children more freedom to develop creativity and imagination. These are meaningful limitations in an otherwise positive report, especially for families prioritising open-ended art and consistently stretching teaching.

Sessions and Attendance

The nursery publishes a full day from 8am to 6pm, a morning from 8am to 2pm and an afternoon from 2pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Families can choose combinations of morning and afternoon sessions. For private hours, the provider describes its daily charge as all-inclusive. On funded hours it lists separate categories for meals and snacks, non-food consumables such as nappies and wipes, and extracurricular activities. Families may opt out: packed food and their own nappies and wipes are accepted, while children not taking paid extras receive other activities from staff. Registration does not guarantee a place, a deposit is required when an offer is accepted, and a whole term’s written notice is published for leaving.
