Schools in Hove

Along the shingle shore of the English Channel, Hove forms the western half of the Brighton and Hove unitary authority in East Sussex. Originally a fishing village, Hove expanded rapidly through the Victorian era, absorbing neighbouring parishes such as Aldrington and Hangleton to become a settled borough.

Central Hove, with its Regency and Victorian garden squares, is among the most sought-after pockets for school catchments, while Hangleton to the northwest draws families competing for primary places. West Hove, Cottesmore, and West Blatchington spread further inland. Hove station sits on the West Coastway line, placing Brighton a few minutes east and linking the town to Worthing and Chichester along the coast.
