Nursery at Eden Park Academy

A dedicated outdoor area gives Little Eden its own space within The Eden School: early years provision that includes two-year-olds, within an independent school with a Seventh-Day Adventist ethos. The nursery belongs to the school's Early Years Foundation Stage, rather than being a separate provider.
The school now operates in Acton. It moved to Park Place in January 2026, after leaving its West Drayton premises in December 2025. That change matters for families planning their journey and assessing the nursery's surroundings. Ofsted graded early years provision Good at the inspection of 25 to 27 February 2025; this was an early years judgement within the school inspection, rather than a separate nursery rating.
Communication, literacy and early mathematics form the clearest picture of learning here. In February 2025, the curriculum gave these skills emphasis from early years onwards. For parents, that means a focus on the foundations children need for later learning: expressing themselves, developing reading skills and building mathematical understanding.
Outdoor provision has a distinct place on the new site. In February 2026, the early years area had suitable resources and was assessed as appropriate for the children using it. This gives the youngest children a dedicated space outside, rather than relying solely on the school's indoor accommodation.
Premises in transition. In February 2026, the school was using a large hall while refurbishment continued in an adjacent learning centre. Classrooms there had furniture sized for pupils. Temporary facilities outside that building provided toilets, changing and showers while permanent facilities were planned. These are school premises arrangements, so families should assess the nursery within that dated context.
The Sanctuary Intervention Centre coordinates inclusion across the school. Its team includes teaching assistants, mentors, counsellors and the SENCO, working with teaching staff during lessons and intervention sessions. Support also draws on educational psychology, speech and language therapy and an in-house play therapist. For a family considering the nursery, this identifies the school's support structure rather than promising a particular intervention for their child.
Safeguarding concerns prompted an emergency inspection on 23 October 2025. The school met the standards examined, including those concerning safeguarding, recruitment checks and risk assessment; this was a targeted check, not a new nursery grade.
At the new site in February 2026, staff controlled access to the buildings and supervised movement between them. Fire safety checks covered both buildings, although remedial work had been identified for the learning centre. These arrangements are relevant to understanding how the shared site was managed.
Nursery attendance does not guarantee a Reception place. Families must apply separately for Reception through the normal admissions process and meet the applicable deadline. Treat choosing the nursery and securing the next school place as separate decisions.
