Schools in Sleaford

The medieval market place and St Denys’ Church define the stone heart of Sleaford, a North Kesteven market town of around 20,000 people on the edge of the Lincolnshire Fenlands. The River Slea gave the settlement its name when Iron Age peoples first crossed here, and New Sleaford had grown into a wool-trading market town by the 12th century. Leasingham lies to the south-west.

School places in Sleaford town centre attract families from across the district, and Westgate is among the most sought-after corners for primary catchments. Eastgate forms the older eastern fringe, with trains on the Peterborough to Lincoln line reaching the county city in around thirty minutes.
