Schools in Spalding

A Fenland market town whose annual Flower Parade, first held in 1959 to celebrate the region's tulip production and centuries-old ties to the Netherlands, once drew crowds of more than 100,000, Spalding sits at the administrative centre of the South Holland district on the River Welland in Lincolnshire. The parade was revived in 2022, and tulip fields still define the surrounding countryside each spring. Around 31,000 people live in the town today. Wygate Park to the west and Gosberton to the north extend the family-friendly residential fringe. East Midlands Railway services run from Spalding station to Peterborough in around twenty-five minutes, with the line continuing to Lincoln.

Quadring, a village parish lying south of the town, is among the most sought-after addresses for primary catchments.
