Nursery attendance does not guarantee a Reception place. Families should check the current published Reception admission arrangements and follow the application route and deadline they set. Do not assume that familiarity with the school creates an admissions advantage.

There is still practical continuity. Nursery children learn the routines, values and early curriculum of the same school community. That can make the educational transition more familiar, but it remains separate from the decision about who receives a Reception place.

The school gates open at 8.30am, registration is at 8.50am and Nursery collection is at 3.15pm. Wraparound care is advertised from 7.30am to 6pm for an additional charge. Families should confirm whether those extended hours are available to nursery children, which funded entitlements the nursery accepts, and the current terms for any extras before committing.

Applications and tours are handled by the school office. Regular tours are advertised on Tuesdays at 9.30am, with after-school visits available by arrangement. This is the best opportunity to ask about availability, clothing, food, settling and collection permissions.
