Relationships are a clear strength. When children looked for comfort, familiar practitioners gave prompt, responsive support. Familiar routines and boundaries supported good behaviour, while physical play, healthy snacks and explanations about handwashing helped children understand healthy choices. Staff also supported emotional wellbeing and emerging language.

By November, the later inspection found that exchanges with families were working better. Safeguarding knowledge had improved too, including what staff should do if they have concerns and how to escalate them. For children with SEND, the curriculum was beneficial overall, but Ofsted identified an important next step: support plans needed to be implemented consistently so that communication and language progress improved further.

The limitation is practical transparency, rather than the inspection picture. The nursery's capacity can show its scale, but it does not reveal the size of the room a child will use or the adults normally deployed there. Those details matter most for the youngest children and during settling.

Families who can secure a suitable attendance pattern need the nursery to set out that arrangement and its cost structure clearly. For a child with SEND, the inspection's call for more consistent support-plan delivery deserves a specific conversation before joining.
