Inspectors nevertheless asked the nursery to widen older children's access to early-writing opportunities.

The September 2023 inspection found that children settled well and built strong relationships through the key-person system. Everyday independence was visible too: children put on sand hats, washed their hands, served lunch and used cutlery themselves.

Ofsted judged safeguarding effective in 2023, citing vetting, training, risk assessment and staff knowledge of procedures.
