In August 2025, the key-person system helped children form strong attachments, settle and feel emotionally secure. Independence began early: babies and toddlers fed themselves and wiped their hands and faces, while preschool children practised using the toilet and eating with a knife and fork. Nutritious meals, exercise and explanations about self-care supported healthy routines at the time of inspection. Regular coaching and training gave staff further help in meeting children's needs and developing professionally.

Support was effective for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and disadvantaged children. Staff worked with families and other professionals, used individual learning plans and directed additional funding thoughtfully. Communication with parents was another strength in August 2025, with strong information sharing and positive parental views of the provision and staff. Family photographs and occasional traditional costumes introduced aspects of children's backgrounds, but leaders were asked to make the curriculum's treatment of diversity more consistent.
