Children separated readily from parents and followed familiar routines. Staff supported language, confidence, coordination and enjoyment of stories; parents also told the inspector that they were kept informed and included.

Ofsted found safeguarding effective in March 2023. Inspectors found staff alert to safeguarding risks and clear about escalation procedures. The team also worked with parents and other professionals for children with special educational needs or disabilities, and inspectors saw similarly positive development among children supported by additional funding.
