Children with special educational needs and disabilities received coordinated support from staff, families and external agencies. Safeguarding arrangements were effective. Staff understood referral, whistleblowing and safer-recruitment procedures. The April 2023 improvement point concerned consistency: not every practitioner showed the same understanding of the curriculum's intent, and leaders were asked to strengthen staff knowledge of how children learn.

Leadership support included supervision meetings and regular training. Senior staff also drew on an early years consultant and regional director.
