High Cross Playgroup

High Cross Playgroup is a small, sessional setting at John Williams Hall in Tottenham, with capacity for 24 children. However, managers were required to ensure a fully qualified paediatric first-aider was always on the premises by 21 February 2025. The latest published position remains that requirement, so families should ask about current first-aid cover. Staff were also asked to involve quieter children more consistently in group activities.

High Cross Playgroup operates from High Cross Church, John Williams Hall, Colsterworth Road, London N15 4BN. In January 2025 it cared for children aged two to four and employed four staff working directly with children, three qualified to level 3.

Sessions and Attendance

The recorded January 2025 pattern was term-time opening from Monday to Friday. Morning sessions ran from 9am to midday, afternoon sessions from 1pm to 4pm, and full-time sessions from 9am to 4pm. Government-funded childcare was offered.
