Buzykidz After School Club

Buzykidz is an out-of-school club based at Weald Rise Primary School in Harrow, serving children who attend that school. In July 2023, staff explained how they used calm interactions, regular reminders and praise to encourage positive behaviour. They also described children helping to prepare a healthy snack and having exercise time in the playground.

Safeguarding knowledge was a clear part of the inspection. Staff knew how to respond to concerns about a child or an adult's conduct, while safeguarding and policy updates were discussed at half-termly staff meetings. Relevant childcare qualifications had also been obtained since the previous inspection.

The club operates from Weald Rise Primary School, Robin Hood Drive, Harrow, HA3 7DH. The inspection recorded a term-time wraparound session from 3.15pm to 6pm, Monday to Thursday, restricted to children attending Weald Rise Primary School.
