Fun Fest Harrow

Fun Fest Harrow is an out-of-school holiday club based at Stanburn Primary School on Abercorn Road, Stanmore. In May 2024, Ofsted found that the provision met requirements, with children engaged in carefully organised activities and clear routines.

The strongest evidence is about a busy programme that still felt orderly. In May 2024, children made cookies using recipe cards, ingredients and utensils after watching a short demonstration. Leaders made adjustments for children with additional needs, shared individual care information with staff and adapted activities around different cultures and festivals. Staff also used walkie-talkies during the day, while pre-camp meetings covered safeguarding updates and children's individual information.

Safeguarding arrangements were effective in May 2024. Leaders assessed risks around cooking and outdoor activity and monitored supervision across the setting, which matters in a holiday club using several kinds of space and serving a broad age range.
