Children's relationships were a strength. Practitioners encouraged self-belief through a repeated well done me phrase, and children treated each other respectfully. Ofsted found safeguarding effective in January 2023: staff understood reporting procedures, outdoor areas were checked before use and hygiene routines included regular handwashing.

Two improvements were required. Adults sometimes moved too quickly after asking a question, limiting children's time to form and share an answer. They also sometimes completed tasks such as putting on coats for older children rather than helping them practise independence.
