Schools in Bingley

Once a centre of the West Yorkshire wool trade, Bingley occupies the Aire valley in the metropolitan borough of Bradford, its stone terraces and warehouse fronts still tracing the Leeds and Liverpool Canal that sustained its mills. Around 18,000 residents made the town home at the 2021 Census.

Eldwick and Harden, rising to the hillside north of the town, are among the most school-competitive pockets in this part of Bradford, with families concentrating here for primary places; Bingley itself carries the broadest secondary catchment in the area. Crossflatts and Cottingley trace the valley floor south. Airedale Line trains link Bingley station to Bradford in roughly twenty minutes and to Leeds in under forty.
