Schools in Ilkley

A Victorian spa town of some fifteen thousand, Ilkley sits on the south bank of the River Wharfe where Wharfedale opens toward Bradford in West Yorkshire. Wide streets and ornate stone buildings define the centre, with Ilkley Moor climbing sharply to the south.

Ilkley itself is among the most sought-after corners of the valley for school catchments, and Burley-in-Wharfedale and Menston form the school-competitive belt across the lower valley, drawing families from the wider Bradford district. Ben Rhydding and Addingham lie, respectively, east and upstream. The Wharfedale Line carries passengers to Leeds in around fifty minutes.
