Schools in Brackley

On the county boundary where Northamptonshire meets Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, Brackley is a market town of around 16,000 people, its compact centre shaped by medieval wool and lace trade routes. The Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One team is based here.

Road access runs north to Northampton and south-west to Banbury, the nearest mainline station for Chiltern and CrossCountry services to Oxford and Birmingham. Brackley has long been a school-competitive corner of West Northamptonshire, while Helmdon is among the most sought-after villages for primary catchments in the area, and Magdalen Fields forms part of the town's newer southern residential growth.
