Schools in Bridgnorth

The cliff railway linking High Town to Low Town is Bridgnorth's most distinctive landmark, ascending the sandstone escarpment above the River Severn in a matter of seconds. The town sits in south Shropshire and its population of around 12,000 divides between the medieval upper settlement, with castle ruins and a market square, and the riverside lower town.

Castlefields and Oldbury Wells draw families competing for primary school places, while The Grove and Northgate extend the residential spread northward. Alveley lies a few miles to the south. The Severn Valley Railway heritage line runs from the town south to Kidderminster, while road links serve Wolverhampton to the east.
