Victorian seafront terraces and a broad sandy promenade give Cleethorpes its resort character on the south bank of the Humber estuary in North East Lincolnshire. The town sits on the Prime Meridian. From three fishing hamlets, it grew into a popular bathing destination during the nineteenth century, and around 29,000 residents make it their home today.
