Schools in High Wycombe

The largest town in Buckinghamshire and the commercial centre of the central Chilterns, High Wycombe sits in the valley of the River Wye where chalk downland closes in from both flanks. The market in the High Street has run since at least the Middle Ages, and by the mid-twentieth century the furniture industry had made the town one of England's foremost manufacturing centres. Around 128,000 people live across the built-up area today.

Holmer Green, to the north, is among the most sought-after pockets for families competing for school places in the area, while Cressex draws parents looking for accessible catchments on the town's western edge. Castlefield and Totteridge extend the residential spread to the south and southeast, with Chiltern Railways connecting High Wycombe station to London Marylebone in around twenty-five minutes.
