Support for additional needs is designed to begin promptly. Ofsted found that pupils with SEND are identified swiftly, staff receive regular training, and adjustments are made for specific needs. For a nursery family, that means concerns can be connected to practical classroom support rather than waiting for later year groups.

Nursery and Reception share the school's second site, offering useful familiarity with the setting. This does not change the legal admissions position: attending Emmanuel's nursery does not guarantee admission to Emmanuel's Reception class. Families must make a separate Reception application through the normal primary admissions process and meet the published deadline for their entry year.
