Where the River Arun and River Rother converge on the northern fringe of the South Downs National Park, Pulborough sits within the Horsham district of West Sussex. Its twelfth-century church of St Mary anchors a settlement that has reached around 5,700 residents, its streets still tracing the line of the Stane Street Roman road.

Southern’s Arun Valley Line calls here. Trains reach Horsham in around fifteen minutes and Brighton in under an hour.
