Inclusion begins early. Leaders identified children needing additional help as soon as they started school. Children with SEND were supported to access the same curriculum through a range of strategies, trained teaching assistants and, where needed, the school's additional ROWAN provision. Safeguarding arrangements were effective across the school, with concerns recorded and followed through and staff receiving timely training.

Nursery attendance does not guarantee a Reception place at Woodhall Primary School. Hertfordshire County Council states that families must make a separate Reception application even when their child already attends a school's nursery class. Applications are coordinated through the local authority, and every year some nursery children may not receive a Reception place because Reception can attract more applications.

That administrative separation does not erase the practical continuity of being on a primary-school site, but it must not be mistaken for admissions priority. Families should check the council's current timetable and Woodhall's published admission rules for the year their child is due to start Reception, then submit the local-authority application by the stated deadline.
