Sunny Kids, All Saints is a sessional childcare provider at All Saints Church on Bark Hart Road in Orpington. Ofsted judged it Good in July 2025, with Good judgements across education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management. At that inspection, 50 children aged one to four were on roll.
The clearest character comes from purposeful talk and playful mathematics. Staff introduced vocabulary in different contexts, while measuring, counting and ordering numbers were built into play. Children also took responsibility as happy helpers, including cooking for friends.
The setting follows the Early Years Foundation Stage: learning is built across communication, physical, personal and wider development through play and adult-guided activity rather than school-style lessons. In July 2025, children sang, listened to stories and talked with staff. They explored how things worked and developed new interests.
When something went wrong, staff used the moment to build children's persistence.
Relationships were a strength in July 2025. Strong interactions, children who felt safe and behaved kindly, and positive parent relationships were all recorded. Staff assessed what children knew, identified gaps and planned for individual needs.
Children with SEND received appropriate support, including work with external professionals. Safeguarding arrangements were effective at the inspection, supported by induction and training procedures. The report identified one improvement: focused activities were not always prepared consistently enough to help every child join in and concentrate.
The registered address is All Saints Church, 44 Bark Hart Road, Orpington, BR6 0QD. It has capacity for 50 children. Current operational details must be obtained directly from the provider, including accepted ages, session times, attendance patterns, funded-entitlement arrangements, meals, consumables and a written quotation.
This is a Good sessional setting whose strongest evidenced qualities are warm staff-child interactions, language development and learning through practical play. It is best suited to families who value an Orpington pre-school where children are encouraged to speak, investigate and persevere. The reservation is practical: with no published booking model, families seeking either part-week attendance or shorter daily sessions need to confirm that those distinct patterns are actually sold.
Ofsted judged the setting Good in July 2025. All four graded areas were Good, and safeguarding arrangements were effective.
