Mathematics was equally practical. Children counted babies joining their lunchtime group and explored weighing and measuring while making play dough. Threading and play dough strengthened the small-muscle control needed for later writing. The inspection also found motivation, resilience and cooperative play, while identifying two precise improvements: literacy needed to reach children who preferred learning outdoors, and adult-led activities needed closer thought about environmental factors and group size.

The current setting description adds useful physical context. The church hall is bright and spacious, with a kitchen, toilet and disabled facilities.
