Emotional security and practical independence are the clearest strengths at this Greenford day nursery. Ofsted's March 2026 report card found strong standards for children's welfare and wellbeing and for inclusion, with expected standards across achievement, behaviour and routines, curriculum and teaching, and leadership and governance. Safeguarding standards were met.
The setting cares for children from three months to five years and has 150 places in total. Its strongest inspection evidence concerns staff knowing children well, adapting care to individual needs and helping even young children take an active part in everyday routines.
The Early Years Foundation Stage shapes the educational programme: children learn across communication, physical, personal and early academic development through play, routines and planned activities. In March 2026, inspectors saw mathematics woven into ordinary experiences, with children counting rice scoops, comparing quantities at snack time and pouring water between differently sized containers.
Physical and sensory exploration had real substance. Children planted seeds and jumped through hoops outdoors, explored sand with bare feet, pressed pasta into playdough and developed pretend play through a car wash. Babies used mirrors while staff introduced signs for expressions and feelings; older children drew their emotions and discussed them.
Language was similarly embedded rather than confined to a formal activity. Toddlers repeated words during water play, staff added songs to children's current interests, and home languages were used during play. Experiences including Eid-al-Fitr music and stories connected learning with families' cultures.
The report also drew a careful line between progress and precision. Children made progress from their starting points across all areas of learning, but not every planned activity was targeted closely enough to the next thing an individual child needed to master. For parents, that makes the quality of everyday interaction a convincing feature while leaving a sensible question about how consistently assessment turns into sharply chosen activities.
Key-person arrangements were a major strength in March 2026. Staff knew children's dietary, sleep and communication needs, giving them consistent relationships and responding thoughtfully to individual routines. Transitions between rooms and changes within families were supported through visual aids, roleplay and familiar routines.
Children with additional needs benefited from early identification, personalised support and work involving parents and specialists. Regular assessment was used to adjust that support. Safeguarding standards were met, with an open culture for recognising, acting on and managing concerns.
Emotional literacy ran from the baby room upwards. Mirrors and signs helped babies connect expressions with feelings, while older children represented emotions through drawings and conversation. This is practical support for children who are still finding the words to explain how they feel, and it complements the familiar routines used when family circumstances or rooms change.
The nursery is at Unit C, Tillermans Court, Grenan Square, Greenford UB6 0FT. It is a full-day-care provider for babies, toddlers and preschool children from three months to five years. Families should treat the 150-place figure as the size of the whole setting, not as a room size or a statement about current availability.
Everyday independence is unusually visible in the inspection evidence. Even toddlers poured drinks, served snacks, washed their hands, hung up coats and helped tidy, while daily tooth-brushing added another repeated self-care routine.
This is a large Greenford setting whose best evidence lies in warm key-person care, inclusive practice and children learning independence through the texture of the day. The March 2026 report card is balanced rather than uniformly strong: welfare, wellbeing and inclusion stand out, while sharper activity planning and more consistent behavioural expectations remain the priorities. It is best suited to families seeking full day care for a baby, toddler or preschool child and who value practical self-care, emotional literacy and support for home languages, subject to confirming the nursery's actual session patterns.
