Warm relationships are a clear strength. Children knew the routine, managed their belongings and handwashing, and settled quickly with familiar adults. Staff talked and asked questions frequently, but quieter children did not always receive equal space to respond, and new vocabulary was not consistently repeated. A formal improvement point called for stronger staff knowledge in this area and deeper work with parents on attendance, early intervention and the importance of the early years.
