Schools in Biggleswade

Granted a market charter by King John in the thirteenth century, Biggleswade stands on the River Ivel in Central Bedfordshire as one of the county's established market towns, its population growing by thirty-six per cent to around 23,000 between the 2011 and 2021 censuses. The town centre carries conservation area status.

Stratton and Mead End are among the most school-competitive addresses in the area, drawing families seeking primary places on the town's newer residential edges. Langford lies to the south along the Ivel valley, while Biggleswade station, which opened in 1850, provides Great Northern services toward Peterborough to the north.
