Schools in Burntwood

Miners' terraces and Victorian pit-village streets give Burntwood its distinctive built grain across Staffordshire's Lichfield District, roughly four miles west of the cathedral city. The town grew around coal during the nineteenth century. Around 26,000 people live here today. Prince's Park, reputedly the smallest public park in England, opened in 1863 beside Christ Church on Farewell Lane.

Chasetown and Chase Terrace are school-competitive corners of the town, drawing families who target local state provision, with Fulfen completing the residential belt where demand for primary places tends to concentrate. Lichfield City station provides the nearest rail connection, with Cross-City Line services reaching Birmingham New Street in around forty minutes.
