Schools in Farnham

A compact market town of around 42,000 at the western end of the North Downs, Farnham sits in the Borough of Waverley, Surrey, where the north branch of the River Wey runs through a chalk valley close to the Hampshire border. South Farnham is among the most sought-after pockets for school catchments, with Rowledge and Wrecclesham completing a school-competitive arc across the southern half of the town. Farnham station connects to London Waterloo via South Western Railway in around an hour. Weydon and Bentley extend further still. The town's weekly corn market was once the second largest in England after London, and hop growing shaped its rural economy from the seventeenth century until the 1970s.
