Schools in Kettering

Victorian red-brick terraces and a broad market square anchor the centre of Kettering, a market and industrial town in North Northamptonshire on the western bank of the River Ise. The town's identity was shaped by a boot and shoe industry that expanded through the nineteenth century, leaving a legacy of factory buildings repurposed alongside the older grain of the market streets. Around 63,000 people live here today.

Headlands and Highfield are among the most sought-after neighbourhoods for school catchments, with Weekley drawing families focused on the primary years just to the north-east. Southfield and Broughton extend the residential spread, while Midland Main Line trains connect the town to Leicester in around half an hour.
