Schools in Reigate

Recorded in the Domesday Book in 1086 as Cherchefelle, Reigate grew around a Norman motte-and-bailey castle in Surrey, its weekly market trading from at least 1279 until 1895.

South Park is one of Reigate's most school-competitive corners; Reigate town centre's historic streets draw families seeking access to local primary catchments. The town expanded rapidly after the railway arrived in the mid-nineteenth century. Reigate station now connects to London Bridge and London Victoria via Thameslink and Southern services in around forty minutes, with Wray Common and Gatton forming the residential spread beyond the centre. Around 22,000 people live here today.
