Staff welcomed children warmly and responded sensitively, helping them feel secure. A key strength was adults' knowledge of individual needs and interests, which informed what they planned next.

Support for children with special educational needs and disabilities was thorough. Staff worked with families and outside services, adapting activities and the curriculum around individual needs. Parent partnerships also helped maintain consistency in care and kept families informed about learning and development.

In February 2024, Ofsted found safeguarding effective and described an open, positive culture centred on children's interests. Managers were experienced and enthusiastic, staff undertook continuing professional development and employees reported feeling supported. The other improvement point was sharper supervision and monitoring so that teaching continues to improve.
