Schools in Billericay

Georgian and Victorian shop-fronts line the High Street of Billericay, a historic market town founded in the thirteenth century by the Abbot of West Ham on the Essex uplands. Billericay is widely regarded as one of the most school-competitive postcodes in south Essex, with family demand concentrated around its primary catchments. Four passengers aboard the Mayflower in 1620 were local to the parish, and the ship's name now appears on the town council seal and throughout local commerce. Fenchurch Street is 35 minutes away by C2C service. Around 28,000 people live within the parish today, with Laindon and Buttsbury extending the residential spread to the south and west.
