Schools in Gosport

Fortified from the seventeenth century to guard the western approach to Portsmouth Harbour, Gosport stands on a Hampshire peninsula opposite Portsmouth, home to around 70,000 people at the 2021 census. HMS Sultan still anchors the town's naval identity today. The harbour-front Millennium Timespace sundial, installed in 2000, and the Gosport Ferry link to Portsmouth, where mainline rail runs towards Southampton and London Waterloo, define the modern waterfront.

Alverstoke and Gomer are among the most sought-after pockets for school catchments, drawing families across the southern and western parts of the peninsula.
