Schools in Fareham
A market town of around 43,000, Fareham sits at the north-west tip of Portsmouth Harbour in south Hampshire, with a brick-making heritage that shaped much of Victorian England, including the fabric of the Royal Albert Hall. Roche Court and Hill Head are among the most sought-after postcodes for primary catchments, and families researching schools across the borough tend to concentrate in these southern stretches. Fareham station links the town to Southampton Central in around twenty minutes via South Western Railway. Whiteley, developed since the 1990s as the borough's largest planned residential quarter, and the older neighbourhoods of Redlands and Cams Hill extend the family-oriented belt to the north and east. The soft-fruit orchards are long gone.
