Schools in Liskeard

An ancient stannary market town of around eleven thousand, Liskeard occupies the south-eastern corner of Cornwall with the fringe of Bodmin Moor rising to its north-west. The town retains a working livestock market and a compact Victorian high street, while open farmland and scattered hamlets form much of its wider parish. Luxstowe is among the most sought-after pockets for primary catchments in the area, and Duloe draws families competing for rural primary places to the south. East Taphouse extends the family-facing belt east along the A390. Services on the Cornish Main Line reach Plymouth in around forty minutes.
